State of the art technology

The federal state of Baden-Württemberg has awarded tsf, as one of the 100 most resource efficient companies, for its fully automatic shell making facility. Fully air-conditioned drying chambers ensure, under all weather conditions and during all seasons of the year, an excellent and constant drying of all shells in the ceramic shell making facility. The fully automated wax injection machines at tsf are equipped with the latest control systems. Thus ensures the precise adherence of all process parameters during the production of the wax models. By means of brand new furnaces, tsf has optimized the sintering process of its ceramic shells. This improvement enabled a further increase in quality of the investment casting products of tsf. The investment in new furnaces, equipped with the most modern burners and the newest post-combustion technology, contributes besides the consequent use of green electricity at tsf to a substantial reduction of harmful emissions.

Continuous Improvement

Daily quality meetings of all departments establish, in all production areas of tsf, an enhanced transparency, to identify potential sources of errors at an early stage. By doing this, tsf creates for all production processes a quality awareness in the whole staff for every specific product. This is the basis for a common knowledge base and learning curve at tsf.

Lean Manufacturing

tsf continuously trains all its team members in lean management workshops. The staff members contribute actively with their optimization proposals to the continuous advancement of all process workflows.

Expertise of more than 50 years in investment casting

tsf, as a specialist for high-precision cast parts, has manufactured for its customers more than 3.000 series and prototyping projects. This huge success was possible by using the latest technology and the well-founded expertise in the investment casting process, which was constantly developed during the last decades.
