State of the art technology

The federal state of Baden-Württemberg has awarded tsf, as one of the 100 most resource efficient companies, for its fully automatic shell making facility. Fully air-conditioned drying chambers ensure, under all weather conditions and during all seasons of the year, an excellent and constant drying of all shells in the ceramic shell making facility. The fully automated wax injection machines at tsf are equipped with the latest control systems. Thus ensures the precise adherence of all process parameters during the production of the wax models. By means of brand new furnaces, tsf has optimized the sintering process of its ceramic shells. This improvement enabled a further increase in quality of the investment casting products of tsf. The investment in new furnaces, equipped with the most modern burners and the newest post-combustion technology, contributes besides the consequent use of green electricity at tsf to a substantial reduction of harmful emissions.

Daily quality meetings of all departments establish, in all production areas of tsf, an enhanced transparency, to identify potential sources of errors at an early stage. Rapid Prototyping Process

tsf relies on the rapid prototyping method to create pre-series prototypes. In this process, a tangible 3D plastic model is produced directly from the CAD data. The size accuracy and fine surfaces of the plastic models speak for themselves. Rapid prototyping is also cost-effective for the production of very small batch quantities or individual pieces.
